Sharing the Scoop on Software
We wanted to spill the beans on how we at BEKS keep our freelance team and third-party collaborators in sync, making magic happen without missing a beat. There are no secret ingredients here; we believe in sharing the good stuff, so here’s a peek behind the curtain.
Trello
We’re all about making things run like a well-oiled machine, and that’s where our techy sidekicks come into play. Think of Trello as our digital command center. Every client, big or small, gets their own Trello board or card list. Each task or project gets its card, with deadlines, team members, and all the nitty-gritty details like emails, files, and brainstorming doodles. It’s our way of keeping everything neat, tidy, and on track.
Google Drive and Google Workspace
It’s where every file lives, breathes and is accessible to those who need it. We’re sticklers for order here, so every client and project gets its neatly arranged folder. It’s our ‘single source of truth’ – no messy duplicate files, just one organized space so we can be creatively chaotic. Access to files has a strict permissions structure so that only the people who signed the appropriate NDAs and have been allocated to the account can access the files—no one else.
Slack
For those ‘need it yesterday’ moments, we’ve got Slack. It’s our go-to for quick-fire chats, the kind where formalities take a back seat, and getting things unstuck is the name of the game. Trello is for the official stuff; Slack is for when you need to hash it out fast and loose.
Just know that this trio – Trello, Google Drive, and Slack – is our secret (not so secret) formula for keeping our freelance universe aligned and delivering great work efficiently.
